About the event
Artist Pamela Macedo will be exhibiting at the Laguna Art-A-Fair in beautiful Laguna Beach, where guests can visit her Booth D4 gallery space and take part in two live acrylic painting workshops.
Set inside the scenic Laguna Canyon, Laguna Art-A-Fair brings together independent artists from around the world for a summer celebration of creativity, culture, and connection. Guests are invited to stroll the covered outdoor festival grounds, meet artists in person, enjoy live demonstrations, take creative workshops, and experience fine art in a setting as vivid as the work itself.
Pamela’s work explores movement, nature, and emotional energy through vibrant color, layered texture, and expressive composition. As a contemporary visual artist working in acrylic, mixed media, sculpture, and large-scale mural design, she creates immersive pieces that celebrate the environment, culture, and human connection.

About the Workshops
Laguna Art-A-Fair workshops are designed to help students explore new creative ground in a welcoming, hands-on setting. Whether you are picking up a brush for the first time or returning to your creative practice, these workshops offer a relaxed space to learn, experiment, and leave with something you created by hand.
Workshop Details
Each workshop participant will receive a season pass to the Laguna Art-A-Fair for each workshop they attend. Passes may be picked up at the ticket seller’s booth anytime after a workshop has been purchased.
All workshops are 4.5 hours and run from 10:15 AM to 2:45 PM.
Workshops are open to individuals 16 and older, unless otherwise specified. Ages 12 to 15 may participate with parent or guardian participation.
All materials are provided, except as noted.
Workshop fees are non-refundable.

Workshop 1: Palm Tree and Turtles

Transport yourself to a sunlit shoreline as you create a vibrant tropical landscape featuring a sweeping palm tree, rolling ocean waves, and charming sea turtles.
In this step-by-step acrylic workshop, Pamela will guide students through building a lively beach scene using bold color, simple shapes, and expressive brushwork. This class is perfect for beginner and intermediate painters who want to grow in confidence while creating a joyful finished piece.
Students will learn how to compose a balanced beach scene, paint a stylized palm tree, create movement in the water, blend vibrant skies and ocean depth, add sand texture and shoreline transitions, and use contrast and outlining to make playful details come alive.

Workshop 2: Sea Turtle
